And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works
Okay Church, we have to be so careful of what and who we allow to stir us up. When something has us stirred up, we have to go to God with it. We have to examine whether it is inciting us toward animosity against others, or if it is inciting us toward love and action on behalf of others.
And, we have to be so careful that if we are the ones doing the stirring;), we're stirring others up to love and good works—for the good of others and the growth of the Kingdom of God!
Oh Lord, please help us. Please help us have discerning spirits to know when we are being stirred up by the wrong things and the wrong people. And please help us be people who stir others up only on behalf of love and good works in order to grow your kingdom. Amen.
