God’s Sovereignty isn’t Limited to Those Who Know Him

‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭33‬-‭37,‬ ‭ESV

But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water. He who saw it has borne witness—his testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truth—that you also may believe. For these things took place that the Scripture might be fulfilled: “Not one of his bones will be broken.” And again another Scripture says, “They will look on him whom they have pierced.””

I believe there’s someone who needs to hear this today: God is sovereign, even over those who don’t know Him.

And, God can use those who don’t know Him.

God used those soldiers to fulfill prophecy—even though they had no idea. And things like this happen all throughout the Bible.

So today, if you’re in a situation that’s out of your hands—and in the hands of someone you don’t spiritually trust—then don’t worry.

Don’t be afraid.

Let the peace of God, which is of much higher value than understanding, wash over you today.

Your situation is not in their hands, your situation is in God's hands.

God doesn’t need someone to know Him in order for Him to have His way. His plan for your life isn’t dependent on someone else.

God's sovereignty has no limits. There’s not a person on earth that can steal from you what God has for you.
