Psalm‬ ‭16:11‬ ‬‬

You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

David had it figured out. In this simply-stated, single verse he described the two things all humanity is in search of—the path of life and fullness of joy—and how to get them.

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦. The path which leads to life. The reason for our existence on planet earth. Direction. Purpose. In knowing God, he makes it known to us.

𝘍𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘫𝘰𝘺. 𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦. Found only in the presence of God, only at his right hand.

Sometimes, in the craziness of life, it becomes easy to forget that the purpose and direction we need, and the joy we long for, are waiting for us in his presence. Sometimes we just have to stop and get with Jesus for a bit.

𝘖𝘩 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘠𝘰𝘶, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘴! 𝘈𝘮𝘦𝘯.
