ALL Things

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28,‬ ‭ESV‬‬

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

It’s such a well-known verse that we can tend to glaze over it without giving it much thought—but I think there’s someone who needs to be reminded of it today.

This is an absolutely astounding promise if we stop and think about it.

God works all things together for good—and for His purposes—for those of us who love Him.

Not some things, not most things—all things.

Everything.

Everything done against us.

Everything we've done.

Every exciting thing.

Every mundane thing.

Every painful thing.

Every beautiful thing.

All things. 

Without exception.

All things that have been, all things that are, and all things that are to come.

We don’t have to work it all together for good, God does. Our responsibility is to keep loving God with all our heart—and His responsibility is to work it all together for good. And for His purposes.
