The Lord is Where You Are

Genesis‬ ‭28‬:‭16‬

Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.” 

Matthew 28:20b

And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

This is a simple, yet profound truth I believe someone needs to be reminded of today—the Lord is where you are.

God is with you today.

In your home.

In your workplace.

In your school.

In your marriage.

In your family.

In your trial.

In your joy.

In your pain.

In your unknown.

Make room to lean into his presence today. 

Jacob became aware of God’s presence in his rest—in his stillness. Make room for stillness in your life because we often see God more clearly in our stillness. 

But, whether we’re busy or still—whether we make room to perceive him or not—God is there. He doesn’t leave us just because we don’t make room for ourselves to see him. How much better it is when we do, but no matter what, God is there. 

The Lord is where you are.
